Palazzo Vecchio in Florence is the protagonist of this new image. A particular perspective captured before dusk gives the building a magic aura, which recounts his long history. Ancient seat of the Florentine Republic and Signoria, which takes its name to the square below, today houses the municipal administration of Florence.

Here are exhibited works of great masters of the Renaissance: Michelangelo Buonarroti, Donatello, Verrocchio. The Tower of Arnolfo, one of the emblems of the city, dominates the sky.

Welcome to Florence 4 us…this is my first post, so I want to start on the right foot!

Today we have a wonderful wallpaper giving you a glimpse of Florence in all its majestic beauty. On the front you see the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral (the Dome of Florence) and Palazzo Vecchio, an ancient fortress symbol of the political side of the city. In the background (and just next to Palazzo Vecchio in the “real world”) there’s the Uffizi Gallery, the home of the inestimable heritage of the medici family.
