This wallpaper offers an unusual image of the city from the Carraia’s bridge, with the Arno in the shade and the church of San Frediano in Cestello. Legend tells that the holy native of Lucca, which the monastery is dedicated, in this place would miraculously furrowed the Arno waters and would have diverted it avoiding a flood… fascinanting history!

An unusual view of Giotto’s Bell Tower from “Via dei Calzaiuoli”…

In the historical centre of Forence, Via dei Calzaiuoli is certainly the main and most elegant street of the city, constant goal of an intense pedestrian traffic. The road, about 400 metres long, has no sidewalks, which is seen now by many years in a pedestrian area and along its sides are many of the most elegant shops of Florence. From here you can discover very beautiful landscapes, like this imposing image of Giotto’s belle Tower. :)
